"Is it worth it?"
What I deem worthy of my time, money, energy, and embarrassment
I’m often pondering one question (in all it’s varieties): Is it worth the _____ ?
Just the past few days I’ve found myself discussing:
Is waiting in line for the freddo cappuccino at the new UES outpost of Casita of Brooklyn worth the time? My fiancé and I, hungry for breakfast, decided no. I’ll come back on a weekday.
Is a post-work walk worth the energy? 1000%, especially after working from home all day. As tempting as just slinking to the couch is, it serves as a much needed transition from work mode to relaxation mode.
Is the Nécessaire “The Deodorant” worth the money? And fast follow-up: Does this natural deodorant work? Emma says yes and yes; I’ve placed an order of her favorite Hinoki scent and will report back. My long-time love, Dove Advanced Care in Cucumber, is quaking.
Below a running list of what I find worth my time, money, energy, and embarrassment. Would love to know what’s worth yours.
